Description: 1954 Fender Double 8 Steel Console Electric Guitar
Condition: 100% Original. Very good condition. Various nicks, dings, scratches, chips, and weather checking. Part of Fender logo decal has chipped off (see photos). All electronics and controls are in perfect working condition.
Console: Console consists of solid maple body/necks with original blonde finish. Chrome bridge, bridge plate, pickups covers, and control knobs. Two diamond plates are visible on front and back with Fender logo on front. Raised necks feature a black metal fretboard with white frets and square/rectangle shaped painted inlays.
Pickups/electronics: Trapezoid shaped string through pickup on each neck with master volume control, master tone control, and a 3-way pickup selector switch. Neck 1: 10.07K OhmsNeck 2: 9.86K Ohms.
Set Up: Professionally set up by our guitar tech with .012 - .052 gauge round wound strings.
Playability/Sound: Classic Fender steel tones. This steel console guitar can produce bright ringing notes, and warmer tones like those heard on old country records simply by utilizing the volume and tone controls. A great, original vintage player.
Case: Includes original hardshell tweed case.
